Since I began my photography odyssey, I’ve seen plenty of photos depicting the beginning of a marriage. For the most part, they’re beautiful photos and I’m a sucker for a happy couple.
But what happens to said couple 40, 50, even 60 years later? This is the story photographer Lauren Fleishman is looking to tell with her project, Love Ever After.
As a tribute to her grandparents, Fleishman is taking her camera around New York to capture couples on the other end of marriage. You guys have to look at these photos. They’re inspiring, captivating and just as beautiful as a wedding picture. I can only hope she finds more of these couples in the Tri-State Area.
P.S. Lauren has a Kickstarter for Love Ever After. Her project will be a limited edition book! She’s reached her financial goal, but if you like the project, why not help her out? Every little bit helps.
